Dedication

through the years, and onwards to eternity

This shrine is dedicated to my darling friend Ally: artist, writer, cosplayer, professional nerd, and all-around astounding human.

We were brought together by our shared Bura fandom (which, I might add, we still share today -- serious fangirls gonna serious), and little did I know way back in 2000, that the girl who sent me some lovely fanfic for the dinky little website BBTB used to be would become what she is to me today: one of my oldest friends, someone I love without reserve, a precious piece of my history and a major part of my heart, my Dragon Ball waifu, the Utena to my Anthy, the one who always manages to make me laugh even when I'm at my worst, the one I can reach out to after quiet periods and know our friendship is exactly as we left it when we parted: stronger than anything that would attempt weakly to get in the way of it.

Ally, Blinded by the Blue in its new incarnation, all these years later, is dedicated to you; without you it wouldn't exist. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for your endless and unconditional support. Thank you for not judging me. Thank you for laughing with me. Thank you for everything. You are a brilliant human being, you are a moonlight rainbow in the shape of a girl. So much else I can't say here, but just know: I love you so, so much.
